hand-rubbed oil finish.
The lamp is made from a section of sumac tree. The three-way light is wired all the way through the base--no dangling wires. The walnut shelf is book-matched with the sapwood forming a stripe down the middle. A black walnut serves as the finial. The shade can be replaced with one of your choice.
